LACEY, Wash. -- Lacey firefighters had to use a ladder truck on Sunday after a 6-year-old boy climbed a tree and was unable to get down.
Firefighters said the boy was resting on a four-inch limb 40 feet up in a neighbor’s tree on Apollo Street.
Firefighters brought in the ladder truck and retrieved the boy as family members watched.
Once safely on the ground, the boy promised firefighters he would not climb the tree again.
